About Me

Personal Life: My name is Ben Pang and grew up in the San Francisco, California. I am a teacher by trade and not a financial investor. I have been teaching for 8 years as a public school math teacher in the Bay Area. On my free time, I love enjoying the outdoors through riding road bikes (the bikes with skinny tires) and hiking. I indulge on eating out with family/friends and recharge my batteries by watching YouTube/shows/movies.

Financial Life: Although I am not a financial advisor, I am an avid trader. I started investing in the stock market in 2014 because I realized that being a teacher was not getting me to my financial goal of retiring at age 55 (or earlier). Through investing in the stock market for 7 years, I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge which is why I made this website so that I can:
A. help people invest and stay invested
B. share my experiences
The type of investor I am is a buy and hold investor. I buy/hold mainly blue chip USA companies + exchange traded funds (ETFs). I am a firm believer in investing early and in practicing dollar cost averaging.
